1981年出生，1999年9月到2003年7月在中国海洋大学大气科学专业攻读学士学位，2003年9月2009年6月在中国科学院南海海洋研究所物理海洋学专业攻读硕士、博士学位；2003年7月起在中国科学院南海海洋研究所工作。工作期间，曾在美国缅因大学、美国佛罗里达州立大学海洋大气预报中心、美国伍兹霍尔海洋研究所进行短期学术访问。入选广州珠江科技新星、广东特支计划百千万工程青年拔尖人才、荣获广州市科技进步一等奖。 近年来，以南海盐度为核心，发表第一/通讯作者SCI论文15 篇，多篇文章发表在在TOP期刊GRL，CD，JGR上，并入选杂志特色文章。主持多项科研课题，如：国家重点研发计划课题、国家自然科学基金3项（青年和面上）、973子课题、中国科学院战略性先导科技专项子专题、中国科学院知识创新工程青年人才项目、广州市珠江科技新星专项等。
