主要从事海洋环流与中尺度、次中尺度动力过程研究,已在JGR、JMS等主流海洋学刊物发表论文30余篇,曾在澳大利亚Griffith大学、美国NOAA和美国Brown大学进行访问研究。主持国家自然科学基金项目3项,并担任国家基金委2013年南海西部综合航次的首席科学家,2014年入选中科院青年创新促进会,2017年获广东省科学技术奖(自然科学)一等奖。
